Pediatric Pulmonologist, John Muir Medical Center

Position Overview We are recruiting a Clinician Educator as a Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor. The major criterion for appointment is excellence in clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to programmatic need. Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care at John Muir Medical Center and other community hospitals in the greater east and north bay area. Engage in teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows. Contribute to research, quality improvement and program development. Participate in didactics and mentoring of trainees. Qualifications MD or DO degree. Board Certification in Pediatrics and either Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine; California Medical License required. Outstanding clinician with dedication to teaching and mentoring. Specialization in cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, or sleep medicine is preferred. Academic Rank Academic rank (Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor) will be determined by qualifications and experience.
