Shipping and Receiving AssociateResponsible for the accurate receiving, handling, storage, and shipment of materials and products within a manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role includes verifying inbound and outbound shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and other documentation; loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and other material-handling equipment; inspecting shipments for damage or discrepancies; processing inventory transactions within the computer system; maintaining stock levels of packaging and shipping supplies; packaging, labeling, and preparing materials for shipment; building custom shipping crates using basic carpentry skills; delivering materials to designated locations throughout the facility; communicating inventory or shipment issues to appropriate teams; adhering to all safety and 5S standards; and operating company vehicles as needed for supplier or post office runs.ResponsibilitiesVerify inbound and outbound shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and other documentation.Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material-handling equipment.Inspect shipments for damage or discrepancies.Process inventory transactions within the computer system.Maintain stock levels of packaging and shipping supplies.Package, label, and prepare materials for shipment.Build custom shipping crates using basic carpentry skills.Deliver materials to designated locations throughout the facility.Communicate inventory or shipment issues to appropriate teams.Adhere to all safety and 5S standards.Operate company vehicles as needed for supplier or post office runs.Essential SkillsExperience in shipping and receiving.Inventory control and documentation skills.Proven attendance and reliability.Ability to read simple instructions and memos.Math calculation skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Proficiency with pallet jack and forklift operations.Valid Driver's License.Additional Skills & QualificationsShipping/Receiving experience preferred.Forklift certification is a bonus, but not a requirement.High School Diploma or Equivalency.Why Work Here?Enjoy a full cafeteria with hot and cold meals available for purchase and free access to coffee and cappuccino machines.
