Accounting Manager - Business Solutions GroupPosition OverviewThe Manager for the Business Solutions Group will lead accounting operations and client-facing accounting engagements within a fast-paced advisory practice. This role combines technical accounting expertise, public accounting experience, and account management to deliver compliant, timely financial reporting and value-added business solutions to clients. The manager will ensure adherence to GAAP, support system implementations and integrations, and mentor staff to maintain high-quality service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee month-end and year-end close processes for multiple client engagements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Manage client relationships as the primary account manager: serve as main point of contact, understand client needs, and translate them into accounting solutions and process improvements.Provide technical accounting guidance and review complex accounting transactions, reconciliations, and reporting deliverables.Lead and coordinate accounting system implementations and integrations, including Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Concur, and Intacct, working with internal teams and external vendors.Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff; delegate tasks, perform performance reviews, and promote continuous learning and process efficiency.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and support audit and tax engagements in collaboration with public accounting teams.Drive process improvements and standardization across the Business Solutions Group to increase operational efficiency and client satisfaction.Prepare and present financial analysis, budgets, forecasts, and management reports to clients and senior leadership.QualificationsCertified Public Accountant (CPA) required.5+ years of progressive public accounting experience, including client-facing roles and supervisory responsibilities.Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience applying GAAP to complex transactions.Proven experience as an account manager or managing client relationships within an accounting or advisory practice.Demonstrated proficiency with accounting systems; experience implementing or supporting Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Concur, or Intacct is strongly preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to clients and stakeholders.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Experience with audits and tax coordination is a plus.Benefits2 Days a week in office401(k) matchingPaid Dental, Medical, and Vision programsPTOMentorship programs
