Responsibilities
- Under the direction and supervision of physical therapists, provide PTA services to patients through exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Implement treatment plans, monitor patient responses, and report progress or changes to the supervising PT.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure patient safety during therapeutic activities and maintain a clean, organized treatment area and equipment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient goals and coordinate care as part of the ongoing rehabilitation plan.

Requirements
- Active Texas PTA license or compact license (required)
- Minimum 2 years PTA experience (required)
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Ability to perform PTA duties in an LTAC/long-term care setting
