ER RN Fort Worth, TX
This ER has 30 beds and an annual volume of 20,000 and is the only Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in Tarrant County and is also a Cycle IV accredited Chest Pain Center. We have a very active Adult Unit Practice Council with highly engaged members who facilitate new policy development and process improvement as well as an innovative Peer Interview Committee that helps evaluate potential new employees. Our medical center offers a full-service, outpatient center, as well as Heart and Transplant Centers. Being recognized for their excellence in patient care, this hospital has received numerous awards including the Joint Commission's highest honor bestowed to hospitals in the United States.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Texas RN License or multi-state compact license
- BLS - (American Heart Association)
- ACLS - (American Heart Association)
- PALS- (American Heart Association)
Education:
- BSN - REQUIRED
Experience:
- At least 1 year RECENT ER experience - 2 yrs is PREFERRED
- Willing to speak with candidates who don't have recent acute care experience. However, as long as it is not more than 5 years they have not been in acute care.
- MUST HAVE ACUTE CARE EXPERIENCE IN A HOSPITAL
