Job Title

Urgent Care NP or PA – Part-Time

Location

Fort Worth, TX | Urgent Care

Schedule / Job Type

Part-Time, Contract | Days | Weekdays 1PM–9PM, Weekends 9AM–5PM | 6–10 shifts per month

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat urgent care patients up to 21 years of age, managing approximately 4 patients per hour
• Perform common urgent care procedures including I&Ds, splinting, and suturing
• Diagnose and treat typical urgent care presentations such as cough and congestion
• Document patient encounters using the Experity EMR system
• Maintain PALS certification and apply pediatric-focused clinical skills in a fast-paced urgent care environment
• Provide flexible coverage across multiple clinic locations within the region as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas NP or PA license (must be currently licensed in Texas — licensure in another state is not sufficient)
• Board Certification (BC) required
• PALS certification required
• Texas Medicaid number (or willingness to obtain — having one prior to start will expedite credentialing)
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 6–10 shifts per month
• Local candidates only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric clinical experience preferred
• Background in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, or Urgent Care
• Prior experience with urgent care procedures (splinting, suturing, I&Ds)
• Familiarity with the Experity EMR system is a plus but not required
