Remote Project Manager – High-End Retail ConstructionA well-established and highly respected commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee high-end and luxury retail construction projects across the country.This is a primarily remote position with the flexibility to live anywhere in the United States. Travel is limited to approximately 15% for project needs, along with quarterly visits to the company's office. The organization has invested heavily in technology, systems and communication tools, allowing its project teams to operate effectively without being tied to a typical office environment.The ideal candidate has experience managing luxury retail, flagship, boutique or other highly detailed commercial interior projects where schedule, craftsmanship and brand standards are critical.ResponsibilitiesManage high-end retail projects from preconstruction through closeoutOversee budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement and project documentationCoordinate with owners, architects, designers, subcontractors and field teamsMaintain strict quality standards for custom finishes, millwork and specialty installationsLead project meetings and provide consistent communication to clients and internal teamsIdentify potential risks and resolve issues before they affect schedule or budgetSupport superintendents and ensure strong coordination between the office and fieldManage change orders, cost reporting, forecasting and subcontractor performanceEnsure projects are completed safely, on time and in accordance with brand requirementsAssist with final turnover, punch-list completion and project closeoutQualificationsCommercial construction Project Management experienceHigh-end retail, luxury retail, flagship, boutique experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of fast-paced commercial interiors and detailed finish workAbility to manage multiple project stakeholders and maintain demanding client expectationsExperience with project management software and technology-driven construction systemsStrong budgeting, scheduling, contract administration and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to work independently in a remote environmentWillingness to travel approximately 15% and visit the company office quarterlyWhy Consider This Opportunity?Work remotely from anywhere in the countryLimited and predictable travelManage sophisticated, high-visibility retail projectsJoin a highly tech-forward commercial contractorWork with an experienced leadership team and established project delivery systemsLong-term opportunity with a strong pipeline of high-end retail work
