As a Dental Assistant you will:Prepares, sterilizes, disinfects, and maintains dental equipment, instruments, and suppliesCollects and records patient health histories and x-raysEnsures patient comfort during dental proceduresCompletes charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes from the doctor as directedAssist doctor in management of medical and dental emergenciesDelivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patientMaintains infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staffAssist administrative team with customer service functionsEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of one year of dental assisting experience requiredCompletion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or dental assistant experience preferred but not requiredPrevious customer service or office experienceProficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days in dental terminology and dental software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.Strong verbal and written communication skillsFoster a positive attitude and be a team playerPatient Care Hours: Monday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Why Chippewa Falls?Located in the heart of Wisconsin's Northwoods, Chippewa Falls combines small-town charm with natural beauty and a strong sense of community.
