Financial Controller

To oversee complex financial operations for multiple clients, the full-time Financial Controller will manage accounting processes, prepare financial statements, and guide strategic decision-making in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Serve as the outsourced controller for multiple clients, acting as the primary contact and building relationships with business owners and finance teams Oversee accounting operations, ensuring accuracy across general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations while leading the monthly close process Lead and mentor Account Managers, delegating tasks, reviewing work, and implementing process improvements and software integrations Required qualifications 7+ years of accounting and finance experience, including multi-client management and leading month-end close processes Higher-education accounting degree; CPA firm or public accounting experience preferred Expertise in financial reporting, GAAP, lease accounting, and revenue recognition Proven experience in operational accounting oversight, including bookkeeping and maintaining internal controls Strong delegation and coaching skills with a focus on mentoring others in advanced accounting practices
