Manufacturing Associate - Reagent Production
Twist Bioscience
Twist Bioscience seeks a Manufacturing Associate to perform reagent handling and molecular biology workflows in their Wilsonville, OR facility. The role involves operating automated laboratory equipment, manufacturing custom DNA products, and maintaining detailed documentation in a high-throughput production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate laboratory equipment and automated liquid handling systems to manufacture custom DNA products
- Perform molecular biology workflows including PCR, DNA quantitation, purification, and cloning
- Maintain accurate documentation of all work using templates and software applications
- Troubleshoot process deviations and support manufacturing schedule adherence
- Prepare and organize finished products for shipment according to GMP and ISO standards
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field
- Experience in laboratory or manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficiency with molecular biology techniques including PCR and DNA purification
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, and ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
