About the Position

Job Title: RN - Tele Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry nursing required. License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Must-Have: EPIC experience required. Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to patient health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a care plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the care plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and safety. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe and caring environment. Provides learning opportunities for patients and family members. Directly provides health information to patients and treatment teams. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
