How You'll Contribute Strong knowledge of cardiac rhythms, telemetry monitoring, and ECG interpretation. Ability to recognize and accelerate abnormal heart rhythms, changes in vital signs, or signs of patient deterioration. Excellent critical thinking skills and sound clinical judgment in high-acuity situations. Experience performing patient assessments, obtaining vital signs, and documenting findings accurately. Comfortable providing direct patient care, including mobility assistance, personal care, and comfort measures. Strong communication skills with the ability to relay timely, concise, and accurate patient information. Ability to multitask effectively while monitoring multiple patients and managing monitor station responsibilities. Highly dependable, organized, and committed to maintaining patient safety and quality care standards. Works well in a team-oriented environment and supports overall unit operations and workflow. Demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and a patient-centered approach in all interactions. Experience Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred. Certifications Current State Paramedic License/Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) High School Diploma or GED Preferred Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Dysrhythmia/Telemetry Interpretation Certification Certified EKG Technician (CET) Previous telemetry, emergency department, critical care, or EMS experience Key Services And Units Include Emergency Department (ED) providing 24/7 emergency and trauma care Fast Track services for non-emergent conditions Advanced cardiac monitoring and emergency cardiac care Stroke assessment and stabilization services Trauma and critical care stabilization Emergency respiratory care and rapid intervention Behavioral health emergency evaluations Diagnostic imaging and laboratory services supporting emergency care Direct access to inpatient admissions and specialty consultations Emergency transport coordination and transfer services when needed More About Southern Tennessee Regional Health System-Pulaski Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Pulaski is a 68-bed facility that includes 30 licensed acute care beds and 26 skilled nursing home beds.
