Account Associate

A growing international trading organization is seeking an Account Associate to support its Specialty Chemicals team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to build a long-term career in commercial operations, international trade, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily commercial and trading activities for assigned products and customer accounts
• Manage customer orders, order processing, and account support
• Coordinate shipments, inventory, delivery schedules, and logistics activities
• Communicate with domestic and international customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Monitor order status and proactively address customer needs
• Prepare reports, analyses, and presentations to support business decisions
• Participate in customer meetings and assist with market and demand analysis
• Develop product, market, and commercial knowledge through hands on training
• Support both domestic and international business operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field

3 to 5 years of professional experience

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Experience in logistics, supply chain, import/export, customer service, account support, or commercial operations preferred

Experience working with international customers or suppliers is a plus

Exposure to chemicals, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sectors is helpful but not required

This role offers structured training, mentorship, and a clear path for career growth into Sales Manager and senior commercial leadership positions. Domestic travel required approximately 1 to 2 times per quarter.
