Part Time Nashville, TN, US 25 days ago Requisition ID: 3121 The ideal Aesthetician is passionate about skincare and dedicated to providing exceptional client experiences. The Aesthetician will be responsible for performing a variety of skin treatments, educating clients on proper skincare routines, and promoting retail products. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a thorough understanding of skin anatomy and physiology, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Essential Functions Perform professional skin treatments including facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, waxing, and other body treatments as trained and licensed. Conduct thorough skin analysis and client consultations to understand individual needs and concerns. Develop customized treatment plans and recommend appropriate home care regimens to clients. Educate clients on the benefits of treatments, proper skincare techniques, and product usage. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary treatment room according to established protocols and safety guidelines. Ensure client comfort and safety throughout all services. Maintain accurate client records, including treatment history, product recommendations, and any adverse reactions. Stay up-to-date on the latest skincare trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education and training. Adhere to all state regulations and licensing requirements for aestheticians. Effectively communicate with clients and other team members. Meet or exceed retail sales goals by recommending and selling appropriate skincare products. Other Tasks Assist with inventory management and restocking of treatment supplies and retail products. Participate in marketing and promotional events as needed. Assist with front desk duties, such as answering phones and scheduling appointments, if required. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. Attend team meetings and training sessions. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Core Competencies Technical Skills: Proficient in performing a wide range of aesthetic treatments (as applicable based on experience and training). Strong knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology, and common skin conditions. Understanding of product ingredients and their effects on the skin. Professionalism: Maintains a professional appearance, demeanor, and ethical conduct at all times. Represents the company positively. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Graduate of an accredited cosmetology or esthetics program. 1-2 years of experience as a practicing Aesthetician preferred Strong understanding of skincare products and ingredients. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Physical Requirements Prolonged standing and sitting may be required. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are necessary for performing treatments. Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds. Visual acuity to assess skin conditions.
