Do like to work outside of the general month end close and help with process improvements?

We are looking for a well-rounded Accountant who can help out with the nuts and bolts of the accounting month end close but also work on special projects.

This position involves a mix of streamlining through software (excel) and other time saving measures. This company is growing and there always seems to be a steady list of things to be done.

What you will do:

• Assisting with journal entries and g/l reconciliations for month end close
• Assisting in management reporting including financial statements
• Understand all accounting functional areas to effectively improve processes
• Work on special projects

What you will have:

• This position requires a minimum of 3+ years of general accounting background.
• This should include exposure to all areas but specifically g/l, financial statements and payroll.
• A degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• In addition to a well-rounded general accounting background, this position requires a strong working knowledge of excel.
• Non-smoking company
