Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of children, including literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning
• Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies
• Provide age-appropriate childcare for toddlers and preschoolers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
• Communicate regularly with parents to share updates on children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
• Conduct child development assessments and adapt teaching strategies accordingly to support individual learning needs
• Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure all safety protocols are followed, including first aid and CPR procedures
• Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom activities, and early intervention strategies to support children with special educational needs

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is required; classroom experience is highly valued
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and special education practices
• Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content across subjects such as literacy, math, physical education, and social skills
• Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred or required upon hire
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering a nurturing environment for young learners
• Experience working with diverse populations of children, including those requiring additional support or special accommodations
