Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle school students as a Special Education Teacher. Located in a welcoming community near West Bend, WI, this role offers the chance to have a meaningful impact guiding 7th graders toward academic and personal success. You’ll work with a manageable caseload of 10 students in a cross-categorical setting, serving learners with a range of abilities and needs.

You’ll join an established team of eight other dedicated special education teachers, sharing knowledge, resources, and support. Collaboration is at the heart of this position—bring your enthusiasm for teamwork and student growth!

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Valid special education teaching certification
• Experience working with students across a variety of disabilities, especially in middle school
• Skill in managing caseloads and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to adapt instruction to diverse learning needs
• Positive attitude and collaborative spirit

Primary responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and academic support to 7th grade students on your caseload
• Develop, implement, and review IEPs—some annual meetings and updates expected
• Modify curriculum and classroom strategies to foster student success and engagement
• Collaborate closely with your team of fellow special education teachers, general educators, and support staff
• Maintain accurate records and communicate progress to families and staff
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging classroom environment
