As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, screen visitors and packages, and support a secure environment for employees and operations. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.05 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking lots, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document security-related activities, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
