Project ManagerWe're looking for a Project Manager to lead a software engineering team through a large-scale platform modernization. The project consolidates a suite of APIs and backend data ingest processes into a centralized, containerized platform built on OpenShift, with a focus on resiliency, maintainability, security, and scalability. Alongside the core platform work, the team is building a new data visualization application and enhancing two existing internal applications. This is a long-term contract (roughly 18 months) in which you'll own delivery end to end, serving as both project manager and Scrum Master.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as Scrum Master for an Agile development teamAct as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, delivering consistent status reporting, milestones, and metrics tailored to each audienceDevelop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, milestones, dependencies, resources, and risk managementTrack and forecast project budgets and schedules, and flag variances earlySupport product backlog development and manage delivery activities in Azure DevOpsProduce sprint metrics and reporting, including velocity and burndownLead core team and sponsor meetings, and make recommendations on change requestsIdentify, evaluate, and document proposed changes to scope, schedule, budget, or resources through established change-management processesMaintain a risk, issue, action, and decision (RAID) log with owners, target dates, and statusManage dependencies and coordination across related projectsProvide technical guidance to the project team and drive problem resolutionPrepare governance materials, including agendas, executive updates, decision records, and change-request documentationLead the transition to production support and deliver a final project closure reportRequired Skills5+ years of experience as a Project Manager using Agile/Scrum methodologies5+ years leading IT projects or teams, including people management and budget development and monitoringExperience delivering integrations with third-party solutionsProficiency in MS Project, PowerPoint, and SharePointExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBonus SkillsProficiency in Azure DevOps for Scrum managementExperience with customer experience (CX) projectsAgile or Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe, etc.)Experience managing API, platform modernization, or containerization (OpenShift/Kubernetes) initiatives$75 - $80 an hour
