Position Title: Branch Manager (Madisonville) Location: Madisonville, LA Job Id: 430 # of Openings: 1 Job Overview Your primary role will involve building relationships with our members, offering personalized solutions, and identifying opportunities to help them achieve financial success. The salary range for this position is $58,920.89 to $73,651.12 based on skills and experience plus incentives. Primary Functions Oversee daily operations of the branch, ensuring exceptional customer service and achieving business goals. Manage staff, enhance customer relationships, and drive sales and service excellence. Foster a positive and productive work environment aligned with the credit union’s strategic goals. Assist employees and internal credit union partners, conduct daily business interactions, and maintain alignment with OnPath’s mission, culture, and core values. Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in the absence of specific direction from management. Build rapport and expand relationships with all members internally and externally. Stay informed on OnPath’s products and services to provide the right recommendations to the right members at the right time. Promote and maintain a positive image of the credit union to peers, members, and communities served. Major Duties and Responsibilities Provide leadership, guidance, and support to branch staff to ensure alignment with the Credit Union’s strategic goals and objectives. Conduct employee performance evaluations, set goals, and develop career development plans for branch staff. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous development. Conduct required security meetings with staff to ensure compliance and safety; open and close the building according to set hours and test security equipment quarterly. Ensure branch staff consistently deliver a high level of service that meets or exceeds member expectations, addressing and resolving member concerns promptly and satisfactorily. Promote and support community involvement initiatives to enhance the Credit Union’s presence and reputation. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, conduct regular audits and assessments to mitigate risks. Stay informed of changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards that impact branch operations. Monitor and manage branch performance metrics, including sales, member service, and operational efficiency, to drive consistent results. Implement and maintain best practices to enhance and uphold excellence in member service. Order currency according to policy. Comply with all company policies, applicable laws, and regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Knowledge and Skills Experience: 2–5 years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience. Education/Certifications/Licenses: High school education or GED. Interpersonal Skills: Trust, credibility, diplomacy, ability to communicate complex information, motivation, influencing, educating, and advising. Other Skills: Strong decision‑making, high emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, effective delegation, excellent time management, commitment to fostering creativity, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement; adaptability, customer focus, and financial acumen. ADA Requirements Physical Requirements: Requires sitting, using hands, reaching, viewing customer information, speaking or hearing, standing, walking, lifting up to 5 lbs occasionally, and lifting up to 25 lbs frequently. Working Conditions: Indoors in climate‑controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Mental and/or Emotional Requirements: Ability to work independently or with limited supervision, process written and oral instructions, perform basic mathematics, spell accurately, use basic computer functions, communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities, exercise discretion with confidential matters.
