Position Summary

All Temp Refrigeration Services is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee multiple commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical construction projects. This position serves as the field leader for assigned projects, coordinating daily jobsite activities, managing field personnel, working closely with general contractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, organized, self-motivated, and experienced in commercial construction environments. While this is primarily a supervisory role, the Superintendent should be capable of assisting in the field when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple commercial HVAC and refrigeration construction projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate daily activities of field crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Work closely with Project Managers to ensure project schedules, manpower, and material needs are met.
• Attend jobsite meetings and maintain positive relationships with general contractors, owners, and other trades.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or conflicts before they impact the schedule.
• Ensure all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and company quality standards.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure safety compliance and workmanship standards.
• Coordinate deliveries, equipment, and material staging.
• Assist with manpower planning and crew assignments.
• Document jobsite activities, progress, and issues through reports, photos, and communication with the Project Manager.
• Support field personnel by providing leadership, training, and problem-solving assistance.
• Assist with installations and field work when necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical construction, or a related trade.
• Previous experience supervising field personnel and multiple projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and jobsite coordination.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and work independently.
• Proficient with smartphones, tablets, email, and construction-related software.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with restaurants, grocery stores, healthcare facilities, or commercial buildings.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
• HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical trade background.
