This role focuses on providing small group instruction and co-teaching within elementary classrooms, ensuring every child receives the specialized support needed to succeed. School-based experience is preferred, as you’ll be collaborating closely with fellow educators to foster a positive, engaging learning atmosphere.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
• Knowledge of current best practices in special education

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver small group instruction for students with diverse learning needs
• Co-teach with general education teachers to promote integrated learning
• Develop, implement, and monitor students’ IEPs
• Utilize data-driven decision-making to adapt instructional strategies
• Communicate effectively with parents, support staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
