Data Engineer

Data Engineer – Priority Health Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan. Telecommuting permitted from within the U.S. Responsibilities Develop and deploy ELT/ETL processes across multiple sources, targets, and tools. Communicate with data consumers to improve connectivity to data. Develop and deploy self‑service reporting assets to enable data exploration for end users. Create and modify data ingestion pipelines and workflows aligned with technical specifications. Provide incident support for data warehouses, datasets, and pipelines, including operational support, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or related field (or foreign equivalent). 36 months of experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or related role, including at least 1 year in the health‑insurance industry. 3 years of experience in: architecting ETL pipelines with Apache Spark, AWS Glue, and Apache Airflow; designing cloud‑native data architectures using Snowflake; developing data models with Oracle and MongoDB; implementing real‑time data streaming and algorithms with Apache Kafka and Apache Spark.
