Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) RN position is located in an ICU/CCU setting. This role involves coordinating and providing specialized care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with serious respiratory or cardiac conditions. The position requires adaptiveness to various shifts, including rotating schedules, and entails a minimum of 80 hours every two weeks. Job Details: Position Description: ICU RN to coordinate, provide care, and meet the individualized age-appropriate needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population in the ICU/CCU. The ICU/CCU provides services for surgical patients or patients with serious respiratory and/or cardiac conditions requiring specialized services. The unit has 4 beds/rooms, with a patient ratio of 1:2 depending on acuity; additional staff may be called in for higher acuity cases. Experience in emergency room environments is recommended. Orientation includes hospital and unit-specific training, as well as competency validation. May perform float duties to OB, MS, PACU, and ER based on competency level. Required Qualifications: Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), associate degree in nursing or higher, current state licensure, and 0 years of experience. Schedule: Rotating shifts; 8-hour shifts; minimum of 40 hours per week. Additional Information: Holiday pay is based on hours worked on designated holidays including New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Orientation and compliance processes are required prior to start.
