Job Description
ICU - Nursing

Schedule

This position requires working nights and rotating shifts, with a commitment of 80 hours every 2 weeks; no exceptions.

Assignment Details

Contract length is 13 weeks with guaranteed hours.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Experience in ICU/CCU settings
• Emergency room experience recommended
• Must be open to floating to OB, MS, PACU, and ER as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated care to a diverse patient population across all age groups in the ICU/CCU.
• Address individualized, age-appropriate needs of patients.
• Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist in recovery and stabilization of patients post-surgery or serious conditions.
• Complete orientation and competency binder as required.
• Collaborate with team members during shifts to ensure optimal patient care.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation will be conducted by HR followed by unit orientation with the nurse manager. Compliance tasks must be completed before beginning the assignment.
