Shipping Clerk

As an Order Entry Representative, you will be integral to maintaining efficient operations by entering orders and information into our internal system, managing quotes in a quote log, and providing essential clerical assistance. Your role will include filing, faxing, scanning, and data entry tasks. You will also support office maintenance and assist with additional projects as needed. Occasionally, you will be responsible for answering phones and greeting customers at the front desk.

Responsibilities

• Enter orders and information into the internal system accurately.
• Manage and log quotes efficiently.
• Provide clerical assistance including filing, faxing, and scanning.
• Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate records.
• Assist in maintaining the office environment and support additional projects.
• Answer phones and greet customers as needed.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in order entry and data processing.
• Strong administrative and clerical skills.
• High School Diploma.
• 2-5 years of experience in a professional office environment, preferably in an administrative or data entry role.

• Purchasing experience.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palatine, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
