Quick Facts: Location: Childrens Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404 Start Date: 11/01/2026 End Date: 02/28/2027 (with an extension possibility through 04/30/2027) Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Locum, full-time License/Certifications: State medical license, DEA, certifications in anesthesiology, and relevant life support certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.) Experience: 1+ year in anesthesiology, pediatric experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Hourly Pay Rate: $390.00 Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2 status) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick leave per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and reimbursement when applicable What You'll Do: Provide anesthesiology services for surgical cases in a hospital-based operating room setting Supervise CRNAs and participate in care team activities within a multidisciplinary team Manage anesthesia for neonatal to adult patients, including pediatric cases Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and procedural staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Assist in anesthesia preparation and documentation as needed (Cart prep not required) Support the care team during diverse surgical procedures with around 50-60 cases daily What You Need: Required: Valid medical license in Ohio DEA registration and current life support certifications (ACLS, PALS) Minimum 1 year of anesthesiology experience; pediatric experience preferred Ability to supervise CRNAs and work collaboratively in a team Preferred: Pediatric anesthesiology experience Experience at Level 1 Trauma Centers About the Assignment: Join a prestigious hospital in Dayton, Ohio, as a full-time locum anesthesiologist.
