Store Manager The Waterfront Rescue Mission is hiring a positive, highly productive, safety-minded, and team‑oriented manager to join our team at the Waterfront Thrift Store in Pensacola, FL! This Store Manager (SM) will report to the Director of Retail Services and will coach and manage the store, driving financial performance toward assigned goals. The SM will work collaboratively across the organization, communicate exceptionally well, apply strong business acumen, and facilitate sales and growth. A person of faith who can sign a statement of faith acknowledging their beliefs is required. Responsibilities Financial performance to goal Study KPI performance daily Manage a high‑performance team that complements store growth Manage controllable expenses Ensure customer service expectations are followed at all times Maintain a clean and organized store Manage all aspects of store assets (maintenance, repair, protection, etc.) and prepare/ document annual capital requests and inventory of merchandise Prepare and communicate daily/weekly staff meetings (including safety training), daily devotions, and business KPI topics Manage store systems/critical processes, test improvement theories to increase customer focus and revenues Handle all types of customer feedback Manage any incidents or injuries on store premises Manage daily receipts, deposits, and cash drawers Assist customers and donors, including authorizing returns, exchanges, and handling complaints Ensure policies and procedures are implemented and processes are followed Provide and maintain documentation necessary for payroll Produce, maintain, and evaluate control charts Produce documents and test theories of improvement to our processes, create new processes when necessary, and maintain a culture of quality Manage purchased and donated merchandise inventory (ordering, receiving, pricing, merchandising) Maintain and develop relationships with vendors and regulatory agencies Prepare and document an annual capital assist, new merchandise, and donated items inventory Develop an atmosphere of teamwork and good communication with store staff Some travel may be necessary for training and temporary duty Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other Mission management Qualifications Christian Commitment: Must exemplify and model Christian behaviors and values and possess high levels of ethics, honesty, and character Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years related experience in Retail Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience Valid state driver’s license and insurability by WRM insurance carrier Reliable transportation Benefits Competitive health plan with generous HRA account Group dental and vision (voluntary) 100% employer‑paid life insurance 100% employer‑paid long‑term disability policy Generous PTO benefits 9 recognized holidays annually Generous 403(b) retirement match Closed on Sundays Close by 6:00 PM Monday‑Saturday #J-18808-Ljbffr
