UR Complex Care Center - Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Job Location 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, New York, United States of America, 14642 Compensation Range: $98,010.00 – $137,218.00. Individual salaries will be set within this range and will be determined by market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations. Responsibilities NP or PA Full time Days M-F with on call telephone call from home responsibilities. Complete history and physicals. Follow-up office visits. Coordination and follow-up of diagnostic imaging, laboratory testing, and procedures. Prescribing medications. APP mentoring and support will be provided to all new hires. All APPs will complete a structured orientation/onboarding program to help position them for success in this role. National certification as Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant registered in New York State. Preferred one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner/PA. Qualifications: Nurse Practitioner Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner. Active New York State Registered Nurse license in good standing. Active New York State Nurse Practitioner licensure in good standing. Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner. NPs and PAs will demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relation skills, computer competence, and an active desire to learn. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training. Qualifications: Physician Assistant Completion of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program. Active New York State Physician Assistant licensure in good standing. Current national certification as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA. Physician Assistants will demonstrate clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness and customer relation skills, computer competence, and an active desire to learn. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees), using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.
