We handle the marketing, customer booking, and scheduling , so you can focus on what you do best: completing quality repairs and improvement projects for our customers. You’ll work directly from your home and travel to pre-scheduled jobs throughout Fairfax County, Northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who wants consistent work and flexibility without the administrative responsibilities of running an independent business. $25.00–$27.00 per hour $15 trip fee per job in addition to hourly pay $25 bonus for every 5-star customer review Potential for an additional $75–$100 per day in review bonuses with a full schedule Partial cell phone reimbursement Consistent, year-round work Regular pay reviews Opportunities for career advancement Work independently without daily office face-time What You’ll Do As a Multi-Skilled Carpenter / Handyman, you’ll travel to scheduled residential and commercial jobs and complete a variety of repair and improvement projects. Your work may include: Carpentry and general home repairs Drywall installation and repair Tiling Interior and exterior painting Stair and handrail repairs Light electrical work Troubleshooting and diagnosing repair needs Discussing project scope with customers Completing basic invoicing and job documentation using our mobile platform Providing professional, high-quality customer service What We’re Looking For To be considered for this position, you must have: Professional experience in carpentry and general home repairs Multi-trade skills including drywall, tile, painting, stair/handrail repair, light plumbing, and light electrical work Your own reliable, clean, and organized truck or van capable of carrying tools and displaying magnetic company signs Your own standard hand and power tools, including a ladder and power washer Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills A valid driver’s license and active auto insurance Residence within 25 miles of Fairfax County, VA Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Preferred Qualifications Experience estimating job times and material costs Experience using mobile apps for job dispatching and customer invoicing What Success Looks Like You’ll deliver quality craftsmanship, communicate professionally with customers, and complete jobs efficiently and safely.
