As a Security Officer Patrol Hospital Field in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable, and innovative approach to daily responsibilities while working as part of a team and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and contractor screening procedures in accordance with location protocols and healthcare-related privacy expectations.
• Support Allied Universal team communication by relaying important updates, assisting with directional information, and following post orders for daily operations and/or after-hours activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
