Job Overview Job Title: Youth Residential Counselor. $500 Sign‑on Bonus! The Youth Residential Counselor provides direct supervision and support to youth in a residential setting while fostering skill development in areas such as independent living, budgeting, cooking, and laundry. This person will assist residents with community‑based activities, including recreational outings, medical appointments, and other essential services. Also, collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team and utilize the Nurtured Heart Approach to help implement individualized treatment goals and promote positive youth development. As an integrated health organization Acenda values the use of evidence‑based practice or EBP’s. Program Info Pettirosso Community Home offers a structured therapeutic environment where young women receive around‑the‑clock care and intensive, trauma‑informed treatment. Residents engage in individual, group, and family therapy, as well as allied therapies, with the goal of transitioning to a lower level of care or reuniting with their families.
