What You'll Do

\n

• Oversee accounting operations across real estate entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
\n
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
\n
• Manage property-level and corporate accounting activities, ensuring financial accuracy and consistency across entities.
\n
• Partner with senior leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic financial initiatives.
\n
• Oversee accounting related to real estate investments, acquisitions, financing arrangements, and property operations.
\n
• Strengthen internal controls, improve reporting processes, and support audit and compliance activities.
\n
• Leverage real estate ERP systems to enhance financial reporting, streamline accounting processes, and improve operational efficiency.
\n
• Provide leadership and guidance to accounting team members while promoting accountability and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

\n

\n
• Active CPA designation required.
\n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
\n
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with demonstrated growth in responsibilities.
\n
• Strong background in real estate accounting, including property-level financial reporting and multi-entity accounting.
\n
• Proven experience overseeing month-end close processes, financial statement preparation, and GAAP-based accounting activities.
\n
• Experience managing or mentoring accounting professionals.
\n
• Hands-on experience with real estate accounting ERP systems such as Yardi, MRI Software, Sage 300 CRE, or similar platforms .
\n
• Strong understanding of real estate transactions, financial reporting, and internal controls.
\n
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
\n
