Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

We are a small office seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office worker who has prior Bookkeeper experience and office administrative experience and skills to support our day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent communication abilities, experience in administrative duties, and be a team player. This role involves bookkeeping, and various administrative tasks. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where efficiency and professionalism are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
  • Maintaining client deposits, tallying statements
  • Support office management activities, including filing, proofreading documents, and organizing office supplies
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using productivity software such as Microsoft Office, Word and Google.
  • Create and convert documents as required.
  • Handle clerical duties such as copying, scanning, opening and closing files, maintaining organized filing systems, Develop, update, and maintain relevant office procedures
  • Help with products sourcing and vendor qualification
  • Support special projects as needed to improve office efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide help with shipping by getting shipments ready at the office and at the warehouse.
Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF)
  • Experience with QuickBooks,
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent typing speed and data entry skills with high accuracy
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette and friendly demeanor.
  • Technical proficiency in office productivity tools and data entry processes
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally
This role is essential for maintaining efficient office workflows and maintaining office bookkeeping. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong organizational capabilities, and a commitment to excellence in all tasks undertaken.

This is a full-time, on-site job and is available immediately. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Pay: From $22.50 per hour
