Position: Unarmed Foot Patrol Officer (Union Square)
Pay: $26.75 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time (16–40 hours per week) Graveyard Shifts
Location: On-site
We are seeking professional Unarmed Foot Patrol Officers dedicated to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment at East Bay Bridge in Emeryville C.A . Officers will patrol assigned areas, safeguard businesses, and ensure the safety of visitors, shoppers, and the public .
Required Certifications (must have to apply):
- Valid Guard Card
- Pepper Spray Certificate
- Handcuffing Certificate
- Baton Certificate
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol Union Square on foot to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other safety concerns.
- Monitor and protect public spaces to ensure the safety of visitors and Shoppers .
- Enforce site rules and issue warnings or remove violators when necessary.
- Respond to suspicious or criminal activity, including detaining individuals when appropriate.
- Conduct foot patrols of premises and parking areas to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, illegal vending, camping, or other violations.

- Identify and report facility issues such as fire hazards, leaks, or other safety concerns.
- Request emergency assistance in high-risk situations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience (required).
- Prior military, law enforcement, or related experience preferred.
- Valid certifications: Guard Card, Pepper Spray, Handcuffing, and Baton (all required).
- Familiarity with security procedures and equipment.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
- Strong observation, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
