Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2304 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • Guaranteed 36 hours per week • 13-week contract • Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required • Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed • No on-call or callback requirements • Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours taken in increments as needed • Work in an 8-bed Neuro unit caring for stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients • Perform Neuro assessments and basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation • Perform bolt and drain bedside placements with neurosurgery team • Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required • Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus • Minimum 2 years of experience required with Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background and strong Neuro assessment skills required • 1 travel assignment preferred • EPIC charting experience required • Associate Degree or Certificate required • Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), and NIHSS • Scrub colors: any color Facility: This facility is a well-established hospital offering a comprehensive range of medical services, including specialized critical care units dedicated to neurological and neurosurgical patients.
