Service Manager

At Allied Forklifts Pty Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Service Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our fleet of forklifts. In this full‑time role based in Malaga, WA 6090, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our customers receive uninterrupted, high‑quality service. Your expertise in the automotive trades will be instrumental in managing the service team and driving the continued success of our business. What you’ll be doing Supervising and coordinating the work of the service team to deliver efficient and effective forklift maintenance and repairs Overseeing service schedules and procedures to maximise uptime and minimise disruption for our customers Providing technical guidance and support to the service team, ensuring all work meets industry standards and safety requirements Liaising with customers to understand their needs, troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for forklift maintenance and upgrades Preparing detailed reports on service activities, costs and customer satisfaction What we’re looking for Extensive experience in the automotive trades, ideally with a focus on forklift or heavy equipment maintenance and repair Strong technical knowledge and problem‑solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex forklift issues Excellent communication and customer service skills to liaise with clients and manage the service team effectively Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment, as well as maintenance record‑keeping Proven ability to manage budgets, inventory and supply chain to support efficient service delivery Relevant qualifications in automotive engineering or a related field What we offer At Allied Forklifts, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment.
