Position Overview:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment.
• Ensure patients are positioned correctly for imaging and comfortable throughout.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
• Communicate clearly with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Maintain and conduct routine quality control checks on imaging equipment.

Qualifications:

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Certified in both CT and X-Ray (ARRT)(R)(CT) preferred; eligible to obtain within 1 year
• BLS Certification

Job Responsibilities:

• Assessing, evaluating, and testing patients
• Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures
• Ensuring radiation protection and safety practices are followed
• Performing imaging procedures independently or assisting licensed practitioners
