About Heart for Freedom (heartforfreedom.org): Heart for Freedom is a Christ-centered nonprofit supporting survivors of trafficking and exploitation through trauma-informed care, workforce development, and community partnerships. Overview The Events & Fundraising Intern will support the planning and execution of events and workshops, fundraising campaigns, and community engagement efforts overall. This role is ideal for a student who enjoys creative planning, communication, and working with people. Primary Responsibilities Assist with planning and executing fundraising events Support donor engagement and outreach efforts Help manage social media and promotional content Support in event logistics and day-of support Assist with campaign tracking and follow up (post-event) Preferred fields of study include Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Event Management & Hospitality.
