Program Analyst

DutiesParticipating on cross-functional teams to plan and execute CMS projects that improve program efficiency, enterprise integration, mission delivery, and organizational transformation.Developing project plans, evaluation methods, risk assessments, and performance measures to support long-range program goals and short-term project objectives.Analyzing complex program, policy, staffing, funding, and operational issues and recommending courses of action, process improvements, and risk mitigation strategies to leadership.Researching legislation, regulations, policies, and administrative requirements to assess impacts on CMS programs, operations, procedures, and compliance responsibilities.Conducting program evaluations, cost benefit analyses, and operational studies to identify best practices and recommend improvements to policies, processes, systems, and resource utilization.Preparing reports, guidance, presentations, and responses to inquiries while representing CMS on workgroups and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on program initiatives.
