What You Will Do:

We are looking for Scientific Program Analysts to support federal scientific research and program management activities by providing program analysis, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and strategic support. These positions are full-time supporting NIH at either the Bethesda or Baltimore Campuses.

Support the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of scientific research programs and initiatives.

Analyze scientific, technical, operational, and programmatic information to support leadership decision-making.

Develop reports, briefings, dashboards, white papers, and other communication materials for program stakeholders.

Coordinate meetings, working groups, and scientific review activities, including agenda development, meeting documentation, and follow-up actions.

Track program milestones, deliverables, risks, and action items to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Monitor program performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.

Conduct literature reviews, environmental scans, and research analyses to support scientific and programmatic priorities.

Support budget planning, resource tracking, and program reporting activities as required.

Collaborate with federal staff, scientists, researchers, contractors, and external stakeholders to advance program goals.

Maintain program documentation, records, and data repositories in accordance with customer requirements.

Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives related to scientific programs.

Provide ad hoc analytical and administrative support to leadership as needed.

What You Will Need:

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Public Health, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Health Sciences, Psychology, Chemistry, Epidemiology, or a related scientific field.

Minimum of ONE (1) year of scientific program support, program analysis, research administration, public health, biomedical research, or related experience.

Experience supporting federal agencies, research organizations, academic institutions, or scientific programs.

Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information and communicate findings to diverse audiences.

Experience developing reports, presentations, executive briefings, and written deliverables.

Experience facilitating meetings and coordinating activities across multiple stakeholders.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD "public trust"; candidates must receive approved adjudication prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an active public trust or suitability are preferred.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Master's degree in a scientific, public health, healthcare, or related discipline.

Experience supporting the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other federal scientific organizations.

Knowledge of biomedical research, clinical research, public health programs, or scientific grant management.

Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Experience supporting scientific peer review processes.

Knowledge of federal research funding mechanisms, grants management, or program evaluation methodologies.

Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or related certification.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$108,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
