Job Description Job Description Field Service Technician - Mechanical & Electrical Equipment Ctek Car Wash Service | Commercial Car Wash Equipment | Ingram, TX Salary: $55,000-$65,000 depending on experience, plus additional compensation for on-call, travel, and installation work | Full-time Ctek Car Wash Service is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, hands-on technician to join our team. We install, service, and maintain commercial car wash equipment. This is a hands-on job with plenty of variety — new installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance. We're looking for someone who can look at a piece of equipment, understand how it works, figure out what's wrong, and get it running again. Car wash service experience is a big plus, but it's not required. We'll teach you the car wash side. What we're looking for is real mechanical ability — someone who's comfortable with tools, learns quickly, and enjoys figuring things out. What You'll Do * Install equipment at new car wash locations * Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment * Service and maintain existing car wash systems * Work with pumps, motors, valves, plumbing, electrical components, controls, and chemical systems * Work directly with customers and alongside our other technicians * Participate in an on-call weekend rotation * Occasional out-of-town service and installations What We're Looking For * Strong mechanical ability and hands-on repair experience * Car wash equipment experience is a strong plus * Experience with industrial equipment, HVAC, automotive, agricultural equipment, plumbing, electrical, or similar hands-on work is also a good fit * Comfortable troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical problems * Able to diagnose problems and work independently * Dependable, quick to learn, and takes pride in getting the job done * Valid driver's license and good driving record * Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work from ladders * You provide your own hand tools; we provide specialty and shop tools What We Provide * Service truck * Health insurance contribution * 401(k) with company match * Paid time off * Additional compensation for on-call weekends * Additional compensation and expenses covered for overnight work * Additional compensation for leading new car wash installations * Steady, year-round work Schedule: Primarily Monday-Friday.
