A Day in the Life of an Associate Production Planner: Prepare and control the Production Schedule; coordinate the internal & external supply chain requirements to ensure appropriate flow of materials to support on time delivery of finished goods. Advises management on the status of work in progress, material availability, potential production or capacity issues, and risks to the schedule. Monitors internal and external supply chain alignment - identifies and resolves potential constraints, prepares work orders and purchase requisitions to support the master production schedule. Reviews and communicates supply vs. demand imbalances to Program Manager; provides input to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Plays an integral role on Integrated Product Teams (IPT) effectively interfacing and communicating with internal customers on a regularly scheduled basis. Schedules and expedites the movement of materials by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders. Supports the Product Manager / Account Manager by providing program work completion dates and / or risks. Analyzes pegging reports (and other system tools) to determine critical path constraints. Performs product lead time analysis. Qualifications WhatYou’llNeed: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related fields and/or less than 2 years of relevant work experience. Familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, MRP software, PowerPoint, MS Projects, EMatrix Experience with ERP Software, Oracle preferred. This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
