Social Media & Event Marketing Coordinator

Part-Time | 3 Days/Week | $18/Hour | Logan Square Chicago

One of a Kind Hospitality is looking for a part-time Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting Mr. E’s and our portfolio of Chicago restaurants and bars across social media, content creation, events, email marketing, graphics, and day-to-day marketing.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their marketing career who wants to build real experience across multiple areas instead of being limited to one lane. You do not need to know how to do everything on week one. We’re looking for someone organized, creative, curious, reliable, and excited to learn.

• Help manage social media and content calendars for our restaurant and bar concepts
• Create social content including Reels, TikToks, photos, Stories, and carousels
• Write captions that match each concept’s individual brand voice
• Capture and edit iPhone photo and video content
• Help plan and execute monthly content shoots
• Support event and activation marketing, including occasional on-site coverage
• Assist with graphics for events, promotions, and holidays using Canva
• Help coordinate influencer visits and collaborations
• Contribute to monthly email newsletters and promotional campaigns
• Keep restaurant information and promotions accurate across digital platforms
• Work directly with our marketing team, restaurant managers, chefs, and other team members
• Track content performance and use results to inform future content
• Keep calendars, assets, projects, and deadlines organized

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable creating and editing content for Instagram and TikTok
• A good eye for what makes social content engaging
• Strong written communication and attention to detail
• Able to take direction, ask questions, and then run with an assignment
• Reliable about deadlines and follow-through
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Interested in hospitality, restaurants, nightlife, events, or Chicago culture
• Willing to learn new platforms and marketing skills
• Available for occasional nights or weekends for events and content coverage

Previous hospitality or professional social media experience is a must, even if it was just a short stent as a cashier in fast food. 

This position is intentionally broad. You’ll have opportunities to strengthen the skills you already have while gaining hands-on experience in areas like social strategy, photography and video, graphic design, email marketing, event promotion, influencer marketing, local digital marketing, and account management.

You’ll work on real campaigns for established Chicago hospitality concepts and build work that can become part of your professional portfolio.

As your skills and confidence grow, there is room to take on greater ownership and responsibility within the marketing team.
