Pay Rate: $22.64 - $23.64 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a front desk within a healthcare and pharmaceutical location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, receive and direct visitors, vendors, and deliveries, and communicate with appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and support emergency response activities when directed.
• Observe and report unusual activity, maintain required logs and documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional front-desk presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
