General Laborer

The General Laborer is responsible for miscellaneous job duties that aid in the efficient operation of production. Shift: Monday - Friday; 6:00am-2:00pm Wage: $22.17/hour starting wage Essential Functions:

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
• Understand production work orders, load tags, palletizing instructions, time sheets and all other relevant documents
• Understand computer system and input of data
• Perform quality checks on products (board grade, flutes, single face/double face sides and overall board quality) and identify defects
• Maintain production efficiencies and standards
• Perform miscellaneous job functions in an accurate and efficient manner, such as Packing, Palletizing, Bundling, Stacking, Sorting, and Load Tags
• Assist the Operators in efficient operation of the machine centers
• Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work area
• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
