Senior CoreValve Therapy Consultant - Springfield/Peoria, IL

Medtronic seeks a Senior CoreValve Therapy Consultant to drive sales revenue and market share growth in the Springfield/Peoria region by promoting and servicing CoreValve products. The role combines field-based sales activities with technical clinical support for transcatheter aortic valve replacement procedures, requiring 50-75% travel and a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed commercial sales quotas while ensuring safe product adoption and growth
- Provide technical support during TAVR procedures including device loading and case assistance
- Develop and execute territory strategies to maintain existing business and create new opportunities
- Educate implanting centers on proper device indications, usage, and clinical evidence
- Represent company at industry conferences and manage customer relationships across geographic territory
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to reside within assigned territory
- Experience with TAVR procedures and transcatheter heart valve technologies
- Strong territory management, sales planning, and account development skills
- Comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge of CoreValve and TAVR devices
- Ability to travel 50-75% of the time with overnight stays
- Knowledge of imaging modalities, device indications, and competitive landscape
