Surgery - Vascular Physician Assistant

Adventist Health Glendale is actively seeking a full-time, mission-oriented Cardiovascular Physician Assistant (PA) to join our high-profile cardiothoracic surgery program in Glendale, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive endoscopic vein harvesting experience and a strong background in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting for coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) procedures
• First assist in cardiovascular surgical cases
• Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care management
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current California PA license or eligibility
• NCCPA certification required
• Demonstrated experience in endoscopic vein harvesting required
• Prior experience in cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery strongly preferred

The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, highly skilled, and committed to excellence in surgical patient care. Both experienced candidates and those with strong relevant training will be considered; however, vein harvesting proficiency is essential for success in this role.

Compensation: $200,000-$225,000/year (adjustable based on experience and surgical expertise)
