Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ emotional and social growth at a thriving school community near Dearborn, MI. This contract position allows you to make a meaningful impact, working both with general education and special education populations onsite. You’ll foster resilience and well-being by acting as the 504 Plan Coordinator, delivering targeted social-emotional support, and facilitating behavior intervention services.
In this position, you’ll:
- Serve K-12 students, providing both individual and group support
- Coordinate and implement 504 Plans in partnership with staff and families
- Deliver clinical assessments and develop intervention strategies tailored to diverse student needs
- Offer counseling services to enhance students’ social-emotional development
- Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to ensure wraparound care for students
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing your expertise to student success planning
We’re looking for candidates with:
- A Master’s degree in Social Work
- Current Michigan state licensure as a School Social Worker
- Experience in K-12 educational environments, supporting a range of student needs
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention abilities
- Skilled communication and collaboration across roles and backgrounds
- A commitment to inclusive, culturally competent practice
- Availability for onsite work throughout the contract duration
