Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Active Michigan state licensure as a Social Worker
• Demonstrated experience working with Kindergarten through 12th grade students in a school setting
• Proficient in clinical assessment and delivering appropriate interventions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with staff, families, and administrators
• Comfortable managing responsibilities as the 504 Plan Coordinator for the school

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve the needs of general education and special education students through targeted social-emotional support and behavioral intervention
• Act as the school’s 504 Plan Coordinator, overseeing compliance and ensuring necessary accommodations
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary educational teams, including teachers, counselors, administrators, and family members, to develop individualized support plans
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and track progress
• Provide crisis intervention and resource referrals as needed
• Contribute insights to school-wide initiatives to promote a positive learning environment

This is an onsite position only, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week through mid-May 2026. You’ll have the opportunity to build relationships and make a lasting impact on students and the school community while developing professionally.
